Kerala Blasters FC striker Sanchez Watt scored a goal on his Hero Indian Super League debut and helped his team beat NorthEast United FC 3-1 early into the second season. However, after that both the team and the striker saw a dip in fortunes. While Sanchez failed to score another, Kerala gained just two points from the next six games that also included four consecutive defeats. The English striker spoke to indiansuperleague.com ahead of his team’s game against FC Pune City on Wednesday and was effusive in praise of Kerala Blasters fans. Support has been amazing, obviously Kerala Blasters fans are the best fans in India. The management is keeping a keen eye on us and they know when to rest and when to play, depending on energy levels.You scored in your debut match in front of a massive crowd, how big that moment was for you and did you expect such a reception?No, I did not expect this, nothing like it. That was one of the best feelings I've ever had in my life and I just want to do it again. Them fans are the best, making noise from start to finish like it’s a World Cup final. Always showing love during the game, no matter what's happening in the game they are always supporting us and it’s great.
