Delhi Dynamos FC will look to extend their unbeaten run to four matches when they face off against NorthEast United FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati on Thursday.

Ahead of the tie, indiansuperleague.com caught up with Delhi youngster Vinit Rai for an interview. Here's what he said.

Thoughts on Delhi Dynamos FC's performance this season.

I think we started very slowly and quietly and as you can see in the second half of the season, we are doing really well. We've got two wins and one draw and two consecutive clean sheets. So, at the moment, the situation is good.

What is the mood in the camp like since the turn of the year?

Everyone is very happy because we are getting the results. In the first half of the season, we were not getting the results we were looking for. In the second half of the season, we've been winning matches and have picked up points in every match. So, the camp is really happy at the moment.

Thoughts on working under Josep Gombau.

I think he is really good because our philosophy is to keep the ball and go for attacks. I think it is working for us at the moment.

What is the team's mindset going into the remaining matches?

See, we have nothing to lose and nothing to gain but we were very upset in the first half of the season because we were not getting the results we wanted. But now, as we have started getting results from every match, our motive is to just go for every match and try to win or get a point from every single match.

Thoughts on facing NorthEast United FC.

I think they're in a very good position in the league. They're in the top four and have a really good chance of qualifying for the semi-finals. But I think we are ready for the match.
