Delhi Dynamos are having a torrid time in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18. Mumbai City FC handed them their sixth successive loss on the trot, with a 4-0 rout at the Mumbai Football Arena on Friday. The loss ensures that Delhi end 2017 rooted to the bottom of the points table. Post-match, the visitor’s young midfielder Vinit Rai shared his thoughts on the Lions’ poor run of form with indiansuperleague.com. Here are the excerpts.

Your thoughts on the game?
To lose six games in a row is really sad and I feel like crying sometimes. I don’t know what’s going wrong with our team, but I know something is wrong and God will fix it soon. But we still have to believe in ourselves and there are 11 matches to go and the league can turn around anytime. So, I just want to stay focused on myself and go along with the team throughout the season and give my best for every game.

Is there something that went specifically wrong against Mumbai?
It’s always tough in an away game and then we played with 10 men. I know it was 10 vs 10 but they still had the home advantage with the amazing supporters. It is always difficult to defeat the home team with 10 men. So, let’s see what our future holds.
