Last season's runners-up FC Goa had yet another bad day at the office as they lost their third successive encounter of the 2016 Hero Indian Super League, this time to hosts Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Thursday evening. Hans Mulder and Mehrajuddin Wadoo scored in the Super Machans' 2-0 win. Goa midfielder Sahil Tavora, who had 68 touches, 61 passes and a passing accuracy of 73 percent for his team on Thursday evening, spoke to indiansuperleague.com shortly after the game and reviewed the defeat. Here are the excerpts from the interview.Tough luck. What are your thoughts on the game?It was a really tough and intense game throughout the 90 minutes. In the first half they had only one scoring opportunity and they took that chance. Once you trail away from home and the opposition closes the midfield and plays a very compact game, it is always hard to score. So I feel the first goal really hurt us.When you were 2-0 down at half-time, what was the team talk in the dressing room? When you go 2-0 down at half time in a game like football, it is never over. In the past two seasons FC Goa have come back from two goals down to win, so that's what the gaffer told us in the dressing room, try and get the next goal and see how they react. So we came out in the second half trying to get that goal, unfortunately we didn't get it.Three games, three losses. Where do FC Goa go from here?Obviously, it hasn't been the ideal start for us, we would have liked to get points on the board. Having said that in a league like this one or two victories on the bounce and you are right back in the mix to make the semis. So we are looking to get points on the board. In the first season, we had just two points in the first four games and we went on to make the semis so we will be taking heart from that and looking to get points on the board as soon as possible. We have two away games and then a few home games, so we will look to keep working hard, and we can promise all the fans that we will keep working hard.
