Sergio Cidoncha: Wounded Hyderabad dangerous for us
Kerala Blasters FC will look to make amends for their loss to Mumbai City FC in their last match when they head to the G.M.C. Balayogi Athletic Stadium to face Hyderabad FC on Saturday. The Blasters have so far accumulated three points from two matches, and will be looking to add to the tally with a win against Phil Brown’s men.
Ahead of the fixture, indiansuperleague.com caught with Blasters midfielder, Sergio Cidoncha for an exclusive pre-match interview. Here are the excerpts:
How have Kerala Blasters FC prepared for their first away match of Hero ISL 2019-20 season?
We’ve prepared like (we) always (have). We trained very hard. We want to improve from our last performance. The only thing is we want to put on a good performance and win the match.
Will Hyderabad FC’s two-match losing run help Kerala Blasters FC?
I don’t think so. I think it’s more dangerous for us. They’re going to fight for every ball. For us it’ll be complicated.
How is training under Eelco Schattorie?
I think he’s a very, very good head coach. He has very good ideas. He trusts me to (to deliver) what he believes in. And I think we can do very good things together.
