The defeat brought Delhi down to fourth in the standings and they will have to play Goa again in the semis. Lions striker Robin Singh spoke to indiansuperleague.com after the match and shared his thoughts on the defeat. Here are the excerpts from the interview.
What do you make of today’s performance?
We fought hard but unfortunately we lost today. But we’ll just have to pick ourselves up from here and move forward.
Would you say your defence line needs to improve after the result?
I really don’t think we have problems there right now. But yes, we could have stopped a few goals.
"I’m here just to play my game and play it with all my heart."
Robin SinghAre you satisfied with your individual performance?
I would have to let the critics answer that. I’m here just to play my game and play it with all my heart. If they think I played well, I would want to thank them. If they thought I didn’t, I promise to work harder.
