FC Pune City rode a brace from Robin Singh and a goal each from Marcelo Pereira and Ashique Kuruniyan to register an emphatic 4-1 win over Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Saturday. Carlos Calvo scored the home team's only goal from the penalty spot.

After the match, indiansuperleague.com caught up with Pune's star of the night, Robin Singh, for an exclusive post-match chat. Here are the excerpts.

Thoughts on tonight's match.

The boys worked extremely hard and the result shows it. I think everyone in the team put in a shift, even when the substitutes came on. It was brilliant. Hats off to everyone for the belief, the commitment and everything.

Thoughts on your recent purple patch.

It's a great feeling to hit the back of the net but again, the credit goes to everybody around me. They've been giving me the ball and it has been ending up in the back of the net.

How happy are you to have scored with both feet tonight?

I'm just happy. It's not a big deal as such but if the goals keep coming, I get happier. That's all.

Thoughts on Phil Brown.

I think he is top class. He has kept the boys happy. He has brought the belief back in the team. The boys have reciprocated, given the belief back to him and the hard work and results are showing now.

For Jamshedpur, the loss was a hammer blow for their play-off ambitions. With just two matches left, the Miners find themselves four points behind the top four and a mountain to climb. Jamshedpur youngster Sumeet Passi took a brief moment to share his thoughts after the damaging loss.

Thoughts on the match.

Today was a bad day for us. We had a few chances early on and couldn't score. The match then went away from us and it was our first home defeat of the season. This match is over for us and now we have to concentrate on the next match. We have two matches left.
