NorthEast United FC will be looking for their fifth away victory of the Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2018-19 when they face off against Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Saturday. The Highlanders have won all their away matches this season and will look to continue the trend.

Ahead of the match, indiansuperleague.com managed to catch up with NorthEast goalkeeper Pawan Kumar for an interview. Here's what he said.

Thoughts on the match against Jamshedpur FC.

It’s a good thing that we’ve won two matches back-to-back and we’re confident that we’ll play well. We want to play the next few matches like we played in the last two matches. Our start has been good and I'll try to play and win the match.

Who do you think is the biggest threat from Jamshedpur FC?

They are a good team so I’ll give my 100% in the goal. We’ll see what happens.

Do you think you have secured your starting spot on the team?

I can't say for sure but it’s been going well in the matches that I’ve started and now we’re in a good position. So, I hope I will stay there.

How crucial is this match for the team?

It’s a pretty important match for us because we are in a good position and to win the next match, we have to give 100% and take three points and stay in a good position. If we take three points in this match then the upcoming matches will be comparatively easier for us.
