FC Pune City and FC Goa shared the spoils in a thrilling contest in the 2015 Hero Indian Super League at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Pune on Sunday evening. It looked like Pune were heading for their second successive defeat when Adrian Mutu equalized with a brilliant left-footed shot into the far corner to earn the Stallions a hard-fought point. The goal was the Romanian striker’s first in the Hero ISL and he couldn’t have timed it any better. Mutu spoke to indiansuperleague.com in exclusive interview after the 2-2 draww and shared his joy. Here are the excerpts.Fantastic result for you today and the first goal in the Hero ISL, how does it feel?Feels good because we controlled the game a bit, we worked very hard for it and I think we deserved it.You went down after scoring the first goal, what was the strategy for the second half?We kept working and playing the same way, we kept patience and we knew if we could keep playing like that the goal was going to arrive.You must be looking to score more goals and help the team qualify for the semis. What are your plans for the next few games?Of course, we want to to win, we want to go back to the top of the league.
