Delhi Dynamos FC will play their final home match of the Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2018-19 campaign when they welcome league leaders Bengaluru FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday. The capital club has been in a rich vein of form of late and will be eager to bag all three points from the match.
Ahead of the fixture, indiansuperleague.com caught up for an exclusive interview with Delhi defender Marti Crespi. Here are the excerpts from the same.
What has changed since the break?
The results have improved a lot. I think our work is the same. We are playing the same, more or less. Maybe we are stronger in defence. In fact, the whole team is playing better and not just the back four. Luck has also changed a bit. So, that means that our results have improved a bit too.
Thoughts about the opposition.
We are playing against all the top four- top five. I think our performance is going well. So, we are showing the rest of the league, the upper-half of the league, what we are capable of.
Biggest threat in the Bengaluru team?
Bengaluru are a great team, that’s why they are on top. They are playing well. They have good local players. They have amazing foreign players too and Miku is one of them. Chhetri is scoring too. Midfield is a strong part of their team. They are playing with two foreign centre backs. So, they are strong. I think it will be a tough game, but we are at home. We want to beat them.
