Delhi Dynamos FC will be hunting for the elusive first win of their Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2018-19 campaign when they face off against Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur.

Ahead of the match, indiansuperleague.com sat down with Delhi defender Marti Crespi for an exclusive interview. Here are the excerpts.

What needs to improve in the team?

We have started playing well. The team is building up and keeping the ball. The matches are under our control in the first halves, but finally, the results are not coming. After 10 matches, we haven’t won even one and of course, it’s been hard for the team. But the most important thing is that we’re having a lot of chances. We’re playing well but unfortunately, we are not scoring enough and sometimes we are letting in too many goals.

Thoughts on the match against Jamshedpur FC.

Of course, we are going to keep our style of play because I think we’re building up from the back well. We are keeping the ball in most of the matches and we are having chances. The difference is made in the boxes. We need to improve in the opposition box to score, maybe create more chances, and if we can, try to get a clean sheet.

Do you think Delhi Dynamos FC will come back stronger after the upcoming break?

Yeah, for sure. Finally, the team is growing. It’s our first year together. You can think Bengaluru FC are on top but they are playing together for maybe the last 3 or 4 seasons. In our case, it’s our first season. But the team is growing a lot and is improving a lot. But finally, of course, we need to get some results and some wins and after that, the confidence and maybe the atmosphere is going to be much better for us.
