FC Goa became the third team to book their spot in the semi-finals of the 2015 Hero Indian Super League (ISL) after Atlético de Kolkata and Delhi Dynamos FC courtesy of their 5-1 win against Kerala Blasters FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Sunday. Goa looked in scintillating form as they brushed aside Kerala Blasters FC after a Reinaldo hat-trick and strikes from Joffre and Mandar Rao Dessai. Dessai, who scored his third goal of the season, spoke to indiansuperleague.com in an exclusive chat shortly after the game. Here are the excerpts from the interview.What are your thoughts on tonight’s result?We conceded really early you know, then it was very difficult because we had to win this game so that we could qualify for the semi-finals but we recovered soon and made it 2-1 and then in the second half we finished the game.You scored in front of so many people, how did it feel? Did you expect this?Each and every game I have the same thing you know that I have to score a goal. I always try, I miss a lot of chances. My goal came in this game so I’m happy.What are your thoughts on Reinaldo’s hat-trick tonight?He has been scoring a lot of goals from the start. It’s good for him and it’s good for the team so we could be ready for the semi-finals.
