Kerala Blasters FC will be looking to end their eight-match winless run when they host Jamshedpur FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Tuesday. Kerala are falling behind in the race for a top four spot quickly and will look to bag all three points from the match to keep their hopes alive.

Before the match, indiansuperleague.com sat down with Kerala player Lalruatthara for an exclusive interview. Here are the excerpts.

What are your thoughts on the season so far?

We started very well. Against ATK, we played well. After that, our results were not that great. We need to keep our head down and train hard. We have more matches to play and can come back stronger. We'll do everything, we'll give everything, and anything can happen.

How has your experience been playing for Kerala Blasters FC?

I joined Kerala last season. It has been amazing, the fans here really love their football and when we play, we really enjoy our football. We have a lot of senior players here and I have learnt a lot. Sandesh Jhingan, Anas Edathodika - they're my idols. We have a good coaching staff and I really enjoy it here. I am proud to play with Kerala Blasters FC. I feel happy.

Do you think Kerala Blasters will bounce back and finish in the top four?

Why not? Of course. We believe and we train hard. Now, our situation is not the best but we will give our everything and our main target is to get into the top four and we will give it our everything.

On the match against Jamshedpur FC.

It's a really important match. Jamshedpur FC are a good team. They're strong and it will be an interesting match. So, it will be a really good match. We will train hard and we will do everything to get three points in our home.
