Delhi Dynamos FC extended their unbeaten run in the Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2018-19 to six matches with an impressive 3-1 away victory over FC Pune City. Lallianzuala Chhangte, Romeo Fernandes and Daniel Lalhlimpuia scored for the Lions while Nikhil Poojary registered the Stallions' only goal of the night.

After the match, indiansuperleague.com caught up with the winning team's Lallianzuala Chhangte. Here's what he had to say.

Thoughts on the match.

Yeah, today it was a tough match. We were giving our best. We beat them with what we learnt on the training pitch.

Thoughts on your goal.

I’m very glad to be on the scoresheet again. Thanks to God. Of course, I’ve been missing a lot of chances this season, so I'm glad and I want to keep this going, scoring goals and assists. So, I will work hard and prepare for the next match.

What’s the reason behind Delhi Dynamos FC’s recent form?

This season we started winning a little bit late but the team is now gelling well. We even had some injured players. We understand each other and we are applying what the coach tells us outside the pitch. So, we have a great team spirit.

Is there anything in particular that has increased the team's chemistry?

I think everyone is understanding and trusting each other more. That is very important. Giving the ball, passing the ball around and we understand each other very well. The most important thing is applying what we learned at the training ground on the pitch. It’s very important. So, we did it today and earned a well-deserved win.

From Pune's end, goal scorer Nikhil Poojary shared his thoughts during a post-match chat.

Thoughts on the match.

See, as we expected, this match was tough. They were coming on the back of an unbeaten streak so we expected a difficult match. We equalised once and then it was a bit difficult because they were playing really well.

Thoughts on starting the match and scoring a goal.

I would like to thank the coach for giving me this opportunity but we needed these three points.
