Chennaiyin FC suffered their fourth loss of the second season of the Hero Indian Super League on Thursday evening, against FC Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. The 2-0 defeat sees Chennai sitting just outside the semi-final places after their opening eight matches. Goalkeeper Karanjit Singh, who has been one of the brightest sparks for the Super Machans this season claiming the Hero ISL Emerging Player of the Match in Chennai’s previous two encounters, spoke to indiansuperleague.com shortly after the game. Singh, who was rendered helpless after Chennai conceded two penalties, shared his thoughts on the game. Here are the excerpts from the interview. This is your second loss at home. Thoughts?According to me three points are important whether it's home or away…Unfortunately we lost the first [against Atlético de Kolkata] and now this, losing valuable points."I'm not sure why we're conceding so many penalties."Karanjit SinghChennai conceded penalties once again today? Is that a worry?I'm not sure why we're conceding so many penalties. I don't understand why it's happening, maybe it’s our weakness. In the first half Chennai were looking very offensive but that changed in the second half. Thoughts? It's not that we went down but Goa is a very good team and after scoring the first goal they held the ball more and became defensive. It's our loss and we lost three points tonight.
