Unbeaten so far under new head coach Phil Brown, FC Pune City will look to continue the trend when they host Delhi Dynamos FC at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Pune on Sunday. Three points from the fixture will help the Stallions leapfrog ATK and take up the sixth spot in the standings.

Before the match, indiansuperleague.com interviewed Pune goalkeeper Kamaljit Singh. Here are the excerpts.

Thoughts on your performance for FC Pune City so far.

Last year, I played only three matches. This year, I have played 12-13 matches and it is a big moment for me. Whenever I step out on the field, I try to give my 100%. So definitely, it is a big improvement for me and I will try to give my 100% for the upcoming matches.

How is the mood in the dressing room?

We all know that we had a bad phase at the beginning of the season but right now, we are motivated and undefeated in the last six matches. So, the boys are motivated and they are hungry right now. We missed out on semi-finals but we can't do anything right now. This is football.

How satisfied are you with FC Pune City's recent performances?

Yes, we are very satisfied with our recent form. We are trying to win every match right now. We haven't lost the last six matches. So, we will definitely try and win the last two remaining matches as well.

How has Vishal Kaith helped you develop?

Vishal Kaith is a great goalkeeper. He has helped me in so many things and he gives me good and healthy competition. So, that is how we improve each other. I helped him when he made mistakes and he helped me when I made mistakes. So, it is definitely a plus point for me to have him in the team.

Thoughts on the match against Delhi Dynamos FC.

My personal mindset is that we will definitely go for three points. We need these three points as we can move a spot up on the standings. We will definitely try to win this match.
