ATK host Jamshedpur FC at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Sunday in what may very well be the tie that defines their Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2018-19 campaign. Steve Coppell's men will be looking at nothing less than three points from the match in order to stay relevant in the top four race going into the business end of the season.

Before the crucial fixture, indiansuperleague.com caught up with ATK striker Kalu Uche for an exclusive interview. Here are the excerpts.

How does it feel to be back from injury?

I feel very happy to be back again after a long time on the sidelines due to an injury problem. Honestly, it was so unfortunate but I’m so happy to be back again with the team.

How is the team trying to address the goal scoring issue?

The truth is that we’ve been creating all these chances and they haven’t led to goals. We’re working towards creating more chances and scoring more goals because that’s the only way you can win a match, by scoring goals. We’re really working towards that, we’re doing everything possible to improve.

How confident is the team of making it to the top four?

Yeah, we have five matches to go and we have a chance to get to the semi-finals, to qualify for the semi-finals. Everything is possible in football, we’re not going to relax or feel like there’s no hope anymore, we still have hope. We still have confidence that we can come back again and get to the semi-finals. We’re working towards that, that’s our goal, to get to the semi-finals with the 5 matches left. We’re working towards that to give our best to get to the semi-finals.
