Jamshedpur FC suffered their second loss of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18 after they were beaten 1-0 by current table toppers Chennaiyin FC at the JRD Tata Complex in Jamshedpur on Thursday. Jeje Lalpekhlua’s goal from the penalty spot was enough for the visitors to snatch all three points. Jamshedpur forward Jerry Mawhmingthanga spoke to indiansuperleague.com after the game and shared his view on the tight affair. Here are the excerpts from the interview:

Thoughts on tonight’s match?
Yes, I know it was a tight match. We had a bit of hard luck, so congratulations to Chennaiyin FC.

How difficult was it to create chances against Chennaiyin?
Our strong point is our defence so we try our best in our defence and we work more in our attacking as well.

How did it feel after Kervens Belfort missed the penalty and chance to make it 1-1 before half-time?
It was just hard luck. Maybe another day, it would have gone in, so we cannot blame anybody. It’s a 50-50 chance. We will brush ourselves now and come back stronger.
