FC Pune City host Mumbai City FC at the Balewadi Stadium on Monday to kick-start their season with the first Maharashtra derby of Hero India Super League 2016. The Stallions head into the game with a favourable record having never lost their opening game of the season. Mumbai City FC, on the other hand, have never managed to win their first game of the season, losing 3-0 to Atlético de Kolkata in Hero ISL 2014 and 3-1 to their hosts on Monday in Hero ISL 2015. Diminutive winger Jackichand Singh, who played for FC Pune City last year and scored one of the league’s fastest goals, will be playing for Mumbai City FC this year.
