Here are the excerpts from the interview. How excited are you to see your team play at the Balewadi Stadium?I am very excited and I am hoping my presence here brings them some luck and they win the match and I am very happy to be back and to meet my fans and the fans of the club. What’s your assessment of FC Pune City’s chances this season?Well, they have had a tough start and it’s been an uphill battle so far and I am very proud of how the team is standing and they are strong guys and I just had a nice chat with them and they are very encouraged and motivated and when the team stands together and so united… that’s what one needs to turn things around and I am hoping today will be the day when they turn things around and I am very positive as I can see in their eyes and faces that they can do it.Is there any competition between you, John Abraham, Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan? No, no, absolutely not and I don’t think there is any need for personal competition and we are here to promote football and live our passion out for the sport and that’s how it is.Who do you think are the favourites for the semi-finals?I think I will be cheering for my team and I am quite confident that they will reach the semi-finals.
