Atlético de Kolkata midfielder Borja Fernandez has started well in his third successive season of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL), and it shows in the performance of the Francisco Molina-led team, which is so far unbeaten with one win (vs Kerala Blasters FC) and two draws (vs Chennaiyin FC and Mumbai City FC). The 35-year-old Spaniard, who played a pivotal role in ATK’s title triumph in 2014 and semi-final appearance last season, spoke to indiansuperleague.com ahead of the contest and shared his thoughts. Are you happy with the team’s performance so far?I am quite happy with the performance of the team even though I feel we should have more than five points.Javi Lara has been a revelation this year. Are you happy with his performance?It is not a surprise for us since we already know how good a player Javi Lara is. Even last season Javi Lara did a good job so we are not surprised.You have been with Atlético de Kolkata from the very beginning. Has it been difficult to adjust to the new set-up?The level of football played has improved over the last three years.
