Francis Fernandes will have mixed emotions after his first start for FC Pune City in the 2016 Hero Indian Super League ended in a 1-0 defeat to NorthEast United FC at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Balewadi on Wednesday evening. The 30-year-old completed two successful tackles, two clearances, two blocks and five crosses against the Highlanders and was rightly adjudged the ISL Emerging Player of the Match. He spoke to indiansuperleague.com shortly after the match and shared his thoughts on his side’s second loss at home in Hero ISL 2016. Here are the excerpts from the interview.Tough result for you today, what went wrong? We were unlucky on a couple of occasions but we didn’t capitalise on the chances we had. Even though they were 10 men we could not create any opening and they were playing on the counter and got the goal. Two losses from your two home games. Are six points from the next two home games going to be your objective?Yes definitely. We have to get the six points somehow. The two games we lost are in the past now. We have to concentrate on the next two games and give our best in all the games.
