Mumbai City FC conceded a last-minute goal against Delhi Dynamos FC as the 2015 Hero Indian Super League match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi ended in a 1-1 draw. Frederic Piquionne put Mumbai ahead in the 70th minute, and just when it looked like the visitors will go all the way, Robin Singh’s strike in added time bailed Delhi out. Mumbai midfielder Brandon Fernandes, who made his Hero ISL debut on Friday, spoke to indiansuperleague.com after the match and share his thoughts on the draw. Here are the excerpts from the interview. What do you think of the match today?I think we played good, coming away and leading. But we were disappointed about conceding a goal in the last minute.Mumbai have not won a single away match this season. What do you think is the reason behind it?Every game, we try to have a normal performance. We came here to win. Our coach tells us that every match is important for us, and every win, every point counts in this league. So home or away, our focus is on winning."Home or away, our focus is on winning."Brandon FernandesLast match, the team conceded four goals. This match was almost a clean sheet. Are you happy with the defence? The four goals in the last match were due to our mistakes. We watched the match later and rectified our mistakes. Today, it was much better for us, although due to lack of concentration we conceded in the last minute. With key players [like Sunil Chhetri and Sony Norde] leaving for national duty, do you think you could cope with the missing force? We surely will miss them. But there are 25 players in the squad, players who could replace them. So even in their absence, we’ll do our best and give a good result.
