ATK grabbed a late winner against Delhi Dynamos FC on Sunday to clinch a 2-1 win in their last outing of the Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2018-19 season. Edu Garcia's opening goal on the 63rd minute was cancelled out by Delhi substitute Nandhakumar Sekar. Youngster Ankit Mukherjee came off the bench to score the deciding goal on the 88th minute.

After the match, indiansuperleague.com caught up with ATK's star of the night Edu Garcia for the post-match interview. Here are the excerpts.

Take us through your goal.

I am very happy because it is a very important goal for us. When my mate crossed the ball, I thought it is my opportunity and I have to score. I am very happy about that.

Can you tell us about Ankit Mukherjee's goal?

Yes, I am very happy for him. I thought he was crazy when he ran through the pitch. I think he deserves it as we won the match with his goal. So, we are happy.

How would you like to sum up the Hero ISL season?

I am happy to be here and I love the Hero ISL. Now, I want to watch the upcoming semi-finals as I have a lot of mates in the other teams. I think we will enjoy it.

From the Delhi camp, club captain Marcos Tebar was available to share his thoughts. Here's what he said.

What do you think went wrong today?

Well, I think we played well in the first half. We controlled the tempo of the match. We had a few chances but, in the final third, we didn't create too many and we had problems there. In the second half, we didn't start well. They had a couple of chances in the counter-attacks because of our mistakes in the final third. We conceded in the counter-attacks and they are a team who play very deep.

Do you think Delhi Dynamos FC should have picked up a point?

Yeah maybe, we deserved a draw. As you saw in the first half, we were the only team that wanted to play. And for them, a draw was enough. I think, they played for that and in the end, they got the three points.
