Chris Dagnall has at last hit top gear in the 2015 Hero Indian Super League. The English striker started his maiden season a bit on a slow note but in the last few games for Kerala Blasters FC he has been nothing short of brilliant. His brace against NorthEast United FC at the Indira Gandhi Stadium on Sunday helped the Blasters revive their campaign a great deal. His first goal came with just 28 seconds on the clock, fastest ISL goal ever. Also, the brace took his tally to five goals this season, leaving him only behind Sunil Chhetri and Stiven Mendoza. The 29-year-old spoke to indiansuperleague.com after the match and discussed the Blasters’ win and his own brilliant form. Here are the excerpts.What’s your take on the match?I thought it was a fantastic performance from the lads, from start to finish. It started off on a great tempo, we scored a couple of great goals and went on to score again.Kerala have scored the highest number of goals this Hero ISL season. What do you feel about that?It’s a good thing that we have started playing attacking football. Against Pune, it paid off well, when we started to score a lot of goals.
