Kerala Blasters FC shared the spoils in a 1 – 1 draw with Chennaiyin FC in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on Friday. Kerala’s local boy CK Vineeth scored the equaliser from virtually the last move in the match, and he took time to address indiansuperleague.com after the game. Here are the excerpts:

What do you feel about the result?

We should have won. Lot of chances earlier; Jackichand (Singh) had one, I had one. I don’t think they made a lot of chances like that.

How would you assess the match as a whole?

The chances we got, if we converted as I said, it was an easy win. I think they played well in the first half; they kept the ball. In the second half we came out and did well.

How satisfied are you with your finishing?

I do not think my finishing is perfectly fine. I missed two or three chances I think. We need to convert those chances to win the next matches otherwise we can’t go to the play-offs. We need to convert the chances and that’s the main thing.
