FC Pune City will be playing their first official Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) match under new head coach Phil Brown on Saturday when they take on Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Despite Pune being in better form than bottom-placed Chennaiyin this season, the match will be a tough test for the Stallions who have never won against Chennaiyin in the history of the competition.

Ahead of the encounter, indiansuperleage.com interviewed Pune youngster Ashique Kuruniyan to know his thoughts about the match.

Thoughts on FC Pune City's performance in the Hero ISL so far.

The team performed well in the last few matches and now we will try and do better. The training has been going well and there is a new head coach as well. So, we will try and do better in the next match, give our 100% and try to win.

FC Pune City have never beaten Chennaiyin FC in the Hero ISL so far. Will that change on Saturday?

We can't say we will definitely win, but we will certainly try to win the match.
