Speaking to indiansuperleague.com in an exclusive interview, the 19-year-old spoke about his inspiring journey. Here are some excerpts from the interview.

Talk to us about your journey so far.

I was in Krida Prabodhini School in Pune, I used to play for them and from there I got motivated to play football because of the Hero ISL and Hero I-league matches. I was a ball boy in seasons one and two (of the Hero ISL). I got my motivation from there and understood that if I work hard there is a bright future ahead for me in football. Soon. I got to know that the FIFA Under-17 World Cup is happening in India, so I had a dream to play for the Indian Team. Keeping that dream in mind I worked hard and got a chance to play for them. So, I am very thankful to everyone who supported me. After that I got a chance to go to Blackburn, (Blackburn Rovers FC). It was a good opportunity for me, and I got to learn a lot there, and now I am with Jamshedpur FC. I made my debut as well, so I am very happy.

On being a part of Jamshedpur FC.

I am really proud to be a part of this Jamshedpur FC team. I made my debut, it was an important day for me, the coach gave me a lot of confidence, he told me to trust my plus points. The team played well, despite being one man down, we came back and won the game, so it was a good day.

On playing and training alongside experienced players like CK Vineeth, Subrata Paul, Tiri, Memo (Moura).

They all are legends to be honest, so every day I try to learn from them, I try to observe and follow what do they do, how they carry themselves. I have got to learn a lot from them, and I want to continue to learn.

Views on the match against Hyderabad FC.

To be honest they are also a good side. We won our last game, they have lost theirs, but you never know what will happen in the game. They will come back strong and we are also strong enough, so let's hope for the best, we will give our 100% and try to get those 3 points.

On playing at home.

For us, it's a plus point, the fans are like our twelfth man. I would like to thank everyone for their support, because of their support we get motivated and we are ready to give our all for Jamshedpur FC.
