Continuing their recruitment drives for their grassroots development programme, Hero Indian Super League 2014 winners Atlético de Kolkata successfully organised programmes at the Makardah PJS Football Ground and the Belgachia Shyamaprasad Smriti Sangha Ground on February 26 and 27 respectively.The age group for this programme was under-14 with players born on January 1, 2002 or after being eligible for selection. The programme held on February 26 saw 207 enthusiastic participants take part in it, while the programme held on February 27 featured as many as 176 enthusiastic youngsters.The coaches involved in both the programmes were Mr Bastab Roy ("A" License holder), Mr Barun Sengupta ("B" License holder), Mr Archishman Biswas ("B" License holder), Mr Aditya Chatterjee ("B" License holder) and Mr Kuntala Ghosh Dastider ("A" License holder), with Mr Bastab Roy acting as chief coach.Reporting and registration began at 7:45 am in the Makardah PJS Football Ground leg and at 8 am in the Belgachia Shyamaprasad Smriti Sangha Ground leg. The festival kicked off at 9 am in both venues and participants were divided into groups with 50 minutes of scouting time for each group. The programme concluded around about 12:30 pm at both venues with nearly 550 guardians present in each leg.Trials also featured the hopefuls being segregated into groups depending on if they were born on or after 2004 and 2005. More than 60 participants were present in this category for the Makardah PJS Football Ground leg, whereas the Belgachia Shyamaprasad Smriti Sangha Ground leg had more than 45 participants. The final selection list from every coach was handed over to Mr Bastab Roy who will oversee the short-listing of the final list.
