Kiko Ramirez’s Odisha FC started strongly in the first four matches with three wins and a loss. The last four appearances have been a stark contrast to it, with three losses and a draw. They are positioned seventh on the Hero ISL league table with 10 points in their kitty.

The High:

The club’s most scintillating performance arguably came against SC East Bengal at the Tilak Maidan Stadium on 30 November when they trumped the Red and Gold Brigade 6-4 humdinger.

The Low:

Odisha endured their lowest ebb when they finished at the bottom of the league table in the 2020-21 season with two wins. They also conceded 44 goals. No other team conceded more than 36 goals.

Best Player:

Javier Hernandez has scored the most goals (4) and has bagged the most assists (2) for Odisha FC this season. The midfielder has been joyous to watch, with all of his goals coming from outside the box.

What to expect:

Odisha FC will hope to improve on the last season’s performance, with the primary objective being a potential top-four finish.
