Jamshedpur begin to open up: The league debutants finally seemed to have found their much-needed scoring touch as Izu Azuka bagged a brace in their encounter against Mumbai City FC. It also happened to be their first goals from open play. However, for once their defence let them down as Thiago Santos got a brace of his own to ensure the spoils were shared after a 2 – 2 draw. Incredibly, Jamshedpur have still scored as many as they have conceded, and their goal difference is zero.

NorthEast get first home win of the season: Brazilian Marcinho and 24-year-old Seiminlen Doungel were on target for the Highlanders as they beat FC Goa 2 – 1 at home. These were also NorthEast’s first goals at home as they went on to secure their first win of the season at home.

The 100th goal ‘Mark’: Kerala Blasters FC showed a spirited performance in the second half to earn a point against FC Pune City. Trailing to a Marcelinho goal in the first half, Mark Sifneos fired the equlaiser for the home team in the second period with a neat finish. The Dutchman’s goal was the 100th of this Hero ISL season.

Delhi end their miserable run: On the back of six consecutive losses, the Lions looked to be heading for their seventh when after David Ngaihte’s opener for Delhi was followed up by a brace from Chennaiyin FC’s Jeje Lalpekhlua. However, substitute Guyon Fernandez struck right at the end to ensure that the spoils were shared and ended his team’s poor run.

Bengaluru back to winning ways at home: Having lost their previous couple of home matches, league debutants Bengaluru FC edged defending champions ATK 1 – 0 to secure victory at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium. Sunil Chhetri struck the winner in the first half as the Blues reclaimed their spot at the top of the table.
