FC Pune City and Chennaiyin FC kick-start Round 6 of ISL Fantasy 2016 when the Stallions host the Super Machans at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Balewadi on Sunday. With just 12 rounds now remaining, it’s time to make a few brave choices on some promising individuals without eating too much into your budget. Here are some calculated risks, who seem to be peaking and deserve your attention.

Sandip Nandy (Kerala Blasters FC, Rs 4.7 crore)

Sandip Nandy seems to have made the goalkeeping spot his own after Kerala Blasters FC had decided to begin the season with Graham Stack between the sticks. The 41-year-old custodian has been difficult to beat this season, conceding just one goal so far. He has registered two clean sheets in his three starts bagging 17 points in return. Kerala also have top defenders like Aaron Hughes, Cedric Hengbart and Sandesh Jhingan and their presence means less challenges for Nandy. And that makes him a smart choice for your fantasy team.

Jerry Lalrinzuala (Chennaiyin FC, Rs 4.8 crore)

After a bad start with Chennaiyin on his first appearance that saw him give away a penalty against Atlético de Kolkata, allowing the 2014 winners to rescue a late point, Lalrinzuala has grown in confidence, starting in the last two matches for the Super Machans, which they won without conceding a goal. The 18-year-old has already bagged an ISL-Emerging-Player-of-the-Match award this season, and 19 points in four appearances further give him credibility.

Richarlyson (FC Goa, Rs 5.3 crore)

Richarlyson showed everyone exactly what he is capable of with a stunning strike on the half-volley to help FC Goa to their first win of the season against Mumbai City FC. The Brazilian midfielder is the joint-highest scoring FC Goa player in ISL Fantasy this season with 20 points in his four appearances for the Gaurs. He also boasts a healthy passing accuracy of 75% from the congested midfield region and is not shy of getting forward in attack, making him a prudent choice at just Rs 5.3 crore.

Momar Ndoye (FC Pune City, Rs 6 crore)

Another surprise name who may not be a part of many a Fantasy team, Momar Ndoye’s inclusion in your side could help you score big in this round with FC Pune City in action twice, first against Chennaiyin FC and then Delhi Dynamos FC. The 24-year-old Senegalese showed us flashes of what he is capable of with his late winner against Goa. A brave player with the ball at his feet as his two successful take-ons in 97 minutes of playing time suggest, Ndoye’s inclusion to your team may be a risk worth taking at Rs 6 crore.
