Week 6 of the Hero ISL-Dream11 Fantasy was high on action, with three matches ending in outright wins and two ending in entertaining draws. Hero ISL-Dream11 Fantasy gamers made merry as several star players turned in great performances and earned plenty of points for them.

Last week’s Hero ISL-Dream11 winner was VarzilXI after accumulating a total of 3080 points and now with a new week already underway, let’s look at the top performing stars from Week 6 of action and also a couple of potential game-changers for Week 7.

Dream11 MVP of the Week

Matti Steinmann (SC East Bengal) - 119 Dream11 points

Two goals from Matti Steinmann ensured that SC East Bengal took away a point against Chennaiyin FC. The German midfielder equalised twice against the Marina Machans, earning 119 Dream11 points and a player rating of 10. Steinmann also created two chances along with a successful interception.

Key performers from Week 6

Jakub Sylvestr (Chennaiyin FC) - 114 Dream11 points

After a forgettable outing against FC Goa, Jakub Sylvestr returned to form in the draw against SC East Bengal. The Slovak assisted twice and was a constant threat to the opposition. Sylvestr created six opportunities for the team and also had three of his own shots on target. He earned a player rating of 8.3 for his offensive heroics. 

Igor Angulo (FC Goa) – 99 Dream11 points

The FC Goa striker made up for an underwhelming performance against Chennaiyin FC and scored twice, including a second half stoppage time winner, to help his side to a comeback win over Jamshedpur FC. Angulo managed to rake in 99 Dream11 points besides earning a strong player rating of 9.08.

In addition to the abovementioned players, here are a couple of names to keep an eye on in Week 7 of Hero ISL 2020-21.

Roy Krishna for ATK Mohun Bagan vs Chennaiyin FC, December 29

Roy Krishna has scored five of the Mariners’ eight goals this season and is in contention for the Golden Boot after missing out on it narrowly last time. Although the Fijian could not score in the match against Bengaluru FC, he created two chances for his side and had two shots on target. Krishna will be raring to get on the scoresheet when ATK Mohun Bagan takes on Chennaiyin FC on Tuesday.

Adam le Fondre for Mumbai City FC vs Kerala Blasters FC, January 2

In his first season with the Islanders, Adam le Fondre has proved to be a vital cog in Mumbai’s attack, alongside Bartholomew Ogbeche and Hugo Boumous. The Englishman has already scored five goals and will look to add to the tally when Mumbai City FC take on Kerala Blasters in the first match of the new year.
