Gameweek 12 showcased some exhilarating performances in Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2019-20 with Chennaiyin FC and Kerala Blasters FC pushing for a place in the top four after earning crucial wins. Odisha FC also broke into the top four at the expense of Mumbai City FC. Looking back, here are the best performers from the last round of matches, based on the individual ratings.

TP Rehenesh (Kerala Blasters FC)

Kerala Blasters’ custodian kept an important clean sheet to ensure his side’s still in the race for the semis. He saved all three shots on target against ATK, while making three clearances and had a passing accuracy of 87%.

Abdul Hakku (Kerala Blasters FC)

Hakku made a staggering 16 clearances against ATK, keeping their deadly attack at bay. He made two interceptions and blocks, while having a passing accuracy of 84%.

Jessel Carneiro (Kerala Blasters FC)

The defender made 10 clearances to help his side keep an important clean sheet against ATK. Carneiro also created one chance and had a passing accuracy of 74%.

Carlos Delgado (Odisha FC)

Delgado has been a rock for Odisha, and put in stunning displays against both Mumbai City FC and Hyderabad FC this gameweek. He made a combined total of 18 clearances in both of Odisha’s matches.

Rafael Crivellaro (Chennaiyin FC)

Crivellaro’s brilliant campaign with Chennaiyin FC continued under new head coach Owen Coyle. He capped off a good performance against Hyderabad with a goal as well as an assist and then scored an exceptional goal from near the halfway to line against NorthEast United FC to help his side to another win.

Mouhamadou Gning (Kerala Blasters FC)

The Senegalese defensive midfielder was a rock in front of the Kerala defence against ATK, making five clearances, five interceptions and five successful tackles. The midfielder also had a passing accuracy of 70%.

Lalengmawia (NorthEast United FC)

Despite a disappointing 2-0 loss to Chennaiyin FC, the youngster impressed in midfield for the Highlanders. The 19-year-old had a whopping 92% passing accuracy and also pitched in defensively with three successful tackles, one clearance, five interceptions and two blocks.

Halicharan Narzary (Kerala Blasters FC)

Narzary scored the winner against ATK with his only shot on target to secure a hard-fought victory. He had a passing accuracy of 71% and made two clearances from the left flank as well.

Bartholomew Ogbeche (Kerala Blasters FC)

Ogbeche might not have scored this time, but was a key component for the Blasters in the crunch tie against ATK, creating one chance for them. The striker was key defensively as well, making four clearances and three successful tackles. 

Nerijus Valskis (Chennaiyin FC)

Valskis was one of the best players for Chennaiyin against Hyderabad, having scored a brace and assisting Crivellaro for the opening goal. He created four other chances in that game and also doubled Chennaiyin’s lead against NorthEast with a spectacular strike in their second match of the gameweek.

Aridane Santana (Odisha FC)

The Spanish striker is in red hot form, having scored three goals in two matches for Odisha this gameweek. Against Mumbai City FC, Santana opened the scoring while assisting Xisco Hernandez’s goal and then bagged a brace against Hyderabad to give his side another victory.
