Luis García knows what it is like to play in a big final. Having won the UEFA Champions League with Liverpool earlier in his career, the diminutive Spaniard hopes his experience will help him add another feather to his cap by leading Atlético De Kolkata to the inaugural Hero Indian Super League title. One of the strongest creative influences in the Kolkata squad, the former Spanish international will be one of the men to watch out for. Indiansuperleague.com caught up with Kolkata’s marquee man on the eve of the big final against Kerala Blasters FC and asked him to do a SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) analysis of the opposition. Here is what García had to say:Strengths: For me, Kerala Blasters are a very good team. They play together and help each other out. They have a good set of players in the midfield and some good guys at the back. I see them as a very strong team which is why they have made it to the final. Weaknesses: It has been a long tournament and all the teams have put in a lot of effort. We saw how difficult it became for Kerala in the second leg of their semi-final against Chennaiyin FC. If they drop their level of concentration for even an instant, mistakes will be made, and you cannot afford any mistakes in a final of this magnitude.Opportunities: I feel that that the final will be won by the team that makes fewer mistakes. We have seen Kerala’s ability to absorb and withstand pressure. That will give them an opportunity to spring surprises. We need to take note of this fact and capitalise on any small chance that comes our way. According to me, the winning team shall be a clinical team.Threats: As I said, they have a very good set of players. Iain Hume has been fantastic for them, so I feel that we will have to keep him quiet.
