In a series of closely contested encounters, only one of the six matches ended in a draw, with Odisha FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant sharing honors in Kolkata. Meanwhile, NorthEast United FC, Jamshedpur FC, Mumbai City FC, Bengaluru FC, and Kerala Blasters FC secured victories, showcasing the intense competition in the league.

However, for Fantasy managers who had invested in players from FC Goa, it was a disappointing week. FC Goa, the only team with two fixtures in Matchweek 16, suffered losses in both matches. The encounter turned out to be the most exhilarating of the Matchweek, featuring a remarkable comeback by Kerala Blasters FC in a thrilling six-goal spectacle. Diamantakos played a pivotal role in his team's success, contributing to all four goals scored by Kerala Blasters FC. He showcased his clinical finishing ability by converting from the penalty spot and adding another goal with a neat finish. Notably, the Greek striker also played a key role in providing assists, creating a well-rounded performance.

This exceptional display by Diamantakos translated into significant Fantasy points, earning a commendable 15 points for the 25% of Fantasy managers who had selected him.

 

The Mumbai City FC winger, valued at Rs 7.1 cr, delivered an impressive performance during the recent Matchweek, making a significant impact as a substitute in the match against Chennaiyin FC. Coming off the bench, he played a crucial role in securing the victory for his team by breaking the deadlock in the 71st minute, just three minutes after being substituted into the game. Notably, he followed up this decisive moment with another left-footed finish from outside the box, further solidifying Mumbai City FC's win on the road at the Marina Arena.

The winger's impactful contributions resonated well beyond the pitch, particularly for the 3% of ISL Fantasy managers who had selected him. His match-winning heroics translated into nine valuable Fantasy points, significantly boosting the points tally for those who had the foresight to include him in their squads.

 

Michu, valued at Rs 3.5 cr, made a notable entry into the top five ISL Fantasy scorers of the Matchweek with an outstanding performance between the goalposts against FC Goa at the Fatorda. NorthEast United FC secured an unexpected victory, and Michu played a pivotal role in this triumph.

In a stellar display, Michu showcased his goalkeeping prowess by making four crucial saves over the course of the 90 minutes. His efforts not only ensured a clean sheet for NorthEast United FC but also played a decisive role in bringing home all three points from the encounter. This commendable performance by Michu resonated well with his 5% owners in the ISL Fantasy, as they reaped the rewards of his impactful contribution with a substantial seven points.

 

Hernandez secured the fourth spot in our top five Fantasy rankings for Matchweek 16. He is valued at Rs 9.4 cr and is the most expensive player in the list. The skilled midfielder had a commendable Matchweek, playing a pivotal role in Bengaluru FC's triumph with a brilliant opening goal in the 71st minute during the clash against Hyderabad FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

Despite being substituted out in the dying moments of the game, Hernandez's impactful contribution was crucial in securing the victory for Bengaluru FC. The Spanish player's noteworthy performance translated into Fantasy success, earning a total of seven points for the 24% of selectors who wisely included him in their squad.

 

Manzorro continues to establish himself as a shrewd pick for ISL Fantasy managers, marking his second consecutive appearance in the top five highest point scorers list. After an impressive showing in the previous Matchweek where he secured the top spot with a substantial 16 points, Manzorro (valued at Rs 4.8 cr) had yet another noteworthy Matchweek.

Jamshedpur FC, led by the Frenchman, secured a comeback win against East Bengal FC at the Furnace. Manzorro played a pivotal role in the victory by netting the winning goal during extra time. His decisive contribution not only helped Jamshedpur FC clinch three crucial points but also earned his 7% managers a well-deserved seven points in ISL Fantasy.

Other honorable mentions are, Amrinder Singh (Odisha FC), Mohammad Yasir (FC Goa), Fedor Cernych (Kerala Blasters FC), and Rowllin Borges (FC Goa), all with 7 points, followed by Rei Tachikawa (Jamshedpur FC) who bagged 6 points, to cap off the top 10 highest scorers' list.
