Matchweek 6 of the Indian Super League (ISL) presents an exciting twist with the first double matchweek of the season, and, unusually, two teams will blank this week instead of one.

Fantasy managers will need to adapt their strategies to seize this unique opportunity. Adding to the excitement, the top-performing manager this week will have a chance to win a signed jersey of their choice.

Odisha FC return to the pitch after a break in Matchweek 5, with two matches scheduled this week against East Bengal FC and Mumbai City FC, while Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Punjab FC will both be sitting out.

To help fantasy managers navigate this distinctive matchweek, we present the best possible starting XI in a 3-4-3 formation for Matchweek 6.

Goalkeepers

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (Bengaluru FC) - 5.7Cr

The Bengaluru FC wall has been back to his usual self this season. Besides keeping five clean sheets in a row, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu has averaged five saves in his last three games. It makes him an intriguing option for fantasy managers, even though they play away to Kerala Blasters FC.

Padam Chettri (Mohammedan SC) - 4.4 Cr (Substitutes)

Priced at just 4.4 Cr, Padam Chettri, who plays Hyderabad FC this week, remains a solid pick from the bench on our list in case your first-choice keeper misses out.

Defenders

Naorem Roshan Singh (Bengaluru FC) - 5.0Cr

After a challenging campaign, Noarem Roshan Singh has been showing glimpses of potential again this season, with returns at both ends of the pitch. Singh scored the decisive goal against Punjab FC while maintaining his defensive duties. He will also be keen to keep his form going when they take on Southern rivals Kerala Blasters FC next week.

Mourtada Fall (Odisha FC) - 6.0Cr

Fall, with two fixtures this week, is a strong pick. The Senegalese defender got his first ISL goal this season and could add to his tally this week, using his towering presence in the box. The centre-back could also contribute clean sheet points, which the side has not yet achieved this season.

Zodingliana Ralte (Mohammedan SC) - 4.4Cr

The Mohammedan SC captain has been solid defensively, showcasing his leadership skills, and would be keen to maintain that when his side take on Hyderabad FC in the upcoming week. Priced at just 4.4 Cr, the left-back could be a solid punt for Matchweek 6.

Nathan Rodrigues (Mumbai City FC) - 4.0Cr (Substitutes)

Priced at just 4.0 Cr, Nathan Rodrigues has started ahead of Sahil Panwar at the left-back position. He could be a handy pick who could come off the bench if required.

Buanthanglun Samte (NorthEast United FC) - 4.0Cr (Substitutes)

Another player at 4.0 Cr, Buanthanglun Samte, is another option to explore to balance out the budget.

Midfielders

Hugo Boumous (Odisha FC) - 8.5Cr - Captain

Boumous, in fine form, should be a top priority for fantasy managers heading into Matchweek 6. The playmaker has provided five assists in just four matches, and considering his current form, he is expected to maintain his stellar performances in the upcoming double-header, making him a strong captaincy option.

Noah Sadaoui (Kerala Blasters FC) - 11.4Cr

Sadaoui is gradually rediscovering his best form, and the Moroccan midfielder has blanked only in his first fixture against Punjab FC. With his ability to provide consistent attacking returns, he is another premium player worth holding onto, regardless of the opponent.

Alberto Noguera (Bengaluru FC) - 9.0Cr

Although Noguera has yet to score or assist this season, he remains central to Gerard Zaragoza's midfield at the Blues. The Spaniard's defensive and offensive contributions should earn him valuable points as they face their Southern rivals Kerala Blasters FC this week.

Nestor Albiach (NorthEast United FC) - 7.4Cr

Nestor Albiach has been in excellent form, scoring three goals in his last two games. With his current run of attacking contributions, he could be another standout option in the midfield for Matchweek 6.

Lalrinliana Hnamte (Chennaiyin FC) - 4.5Cr (Substitutes)

Lalrinliana Hnamte has been a regular in Owen Coyle's setup. The central midfielder is one of the few players in his price category likely to start, offering fantasy managers a reliable option off the bench if needed.

Forwards

Diego Mauricio (Odisha FC) - 9.0Cr - Vice Captain

The Brazilian forward is the third Odisha FC player to watch for Matchweek 6. Despite splitting minutes with Roy Krishna, Mauricio has already scored three goals in four matches and looks likely to find the net again when they host a struggling East Bengal FC, followed by an away game at Mumbai City FC.

Alaaeddine Ajaraie (NorthEast United FC) - 8.1Cr

Ajaraie, arguably the most in-form striker in the league right now, remains a must-have for another Matchweek. The Highlanders are eager to bounce back from a four-game winless run, and the Moroccan forward, who has scored in all five of his ISL appearances this season, will be looking to continue his hot streak against Jamshedpur FC.

Jesus Jimenez (Kerala Blasters FC) - 8.6Cr

After coming off the bench in the first game against Punjab FC, Jesus Jimenez has earned a starting role in the last four matches and is expected to keep his place against the Blues. The Spanish forward, who has two goals and an assist to his name in last two matches, will aim to build on that momentum when facing the high-flying Bengaluru FC side.
