Matchweek 10 of the Indian Super League (ISL) saw some nail-biting finishes, with several teams grinding out narrow wins.

On fantasy terms, Matchweek 10 saw defenders dominate the scoring chart, with four out of six fixtures ending in 1-0 scorelines and as many as seven defenders and a goalkeeper making it to the top 10 list.

However, fantasy managers will eagerly wait for the next Matchweek, hoping to receive some big hauls from the attacking players as well.

As we inch closer to the MW11 deadline, here is the Best ISL Fantasy XI for Matchweek 11, featuring a 3-4-3 formation.

Goalkeeper

Ravi Kumar (Punjab FC) – 4.9CR

The Shers’ custodian has kept two clean sheets so far this season and stands seventh in terms of points collected among goalkeepers. However, he faces a Mohammedan SC side who have scored only five goals so far, the joint-fewest in the league after the first ten matchweeks.

Defenders

Mourtada Fall (Odisha FC) – 6CR

The Senegalese centre-back keeps on reminding fantasy managers of his attacking potential besides defensive abilities to rack up points. Fall has scored in each of his last two games and might be tempted to make it three in a row when they welcome Mumbai City FC in Matchweek 11. He is currently their second-highest goalscorer of the season with four goals, only behind Diego Mauricio.

Aakash Sangwan (FC Goa) – 5CR

Sangwan is looking to cement his place at left-back despite competition from Jay Gupta. The full-back will be looking to add to his tally of two assists this season when they face off against a struggling Hyderabad FC side.

Rahul Bheke (Bengaluru FC) – 4.9CR

With a home encounter against southern rivals Kerala Blasters, the Blues would be desperate to restore their leaky defence. Bheke can offer excellent value with his potential for attacking returns from set-piece situations.

Midfielders

Hugo Boumous (Odisha FC) – 8.5CR

A home encounter with his former side Mumbai City FC could help Boumous improve his tally of two goals and four assists this season. Encouragingly for his 43 per cent owners, Boumous has the best points-per-game ratio of 6.66 – the highest among midfielders so far this season.

Greg Stewart (Mohun Bagan Super Giant) – 10CR

Stewart produced one of the best cameos in their last fixture against Chennaiyin FC, and the Scottish playmaker will be in contention to start the next match. He leads the assist chart with five assists and also has one goal to his name. A fit Greg Stewart should be among the top picks for managers.

Noah Sadaoui (Kerala Blasters FC) – 11.3CR

After missing out on making an attacking return against his former side, Sadaoui will eye this fixture to add to his tally of four goals and three assists when they travel to Bengaluru. He is currently the joint-most owned midfielder with Boumous.

Boris Singh (FC Goa) – 6.1CR

Though listed as a midfielder, Singh has been operating as a right-back lately and has been excellent in that role. He also scored the only goal against Kerala Blasters FC and would fancy his chances again against a Hyderabad FC side that has been leaking goals this season.

Forwards

Alaaeddine Ajaraie (NorthEast United FC) – 8.4CR – Vice Captain

Ajaraie has been the standout performer this season. The Moroccan has only failed to provide any attacking returns once – in the previous game this season – and has already netted 11 goals along with four assists in ten appearances. The forward boasts a strong record at home with six goals and two assists in home games, and the absence of two key defenders from the opposition makes him more appealing to own this week.

Diego Mauricio (Odisha FC) – 9CR

The Brazilian boasts a strong prolific record ahead of his next home fixture against Mumbai City FC. His tally of three goals and two assists in his last two appearances makes him a no-brainer for fantasy managers to have in their squad.

Armando Sadiku (FC Goa) – 8.7CR – Captain

Sadiku was an injury concern in Matchweek 9, with him coming off the bench. However, the Albanian could return to the starting XI and would like to improve his scoring streak, having netted in every game he has started this season. Facing an out-of-form Hyderabad FC side, the FC Goa forward could be a great choice for captain.

Substitutes

Goalkeeper

Bhaskar Roy (Mohammedan SC) – 4CR

Roy has been brilliant since replacing Padam Chettri as the first-choice keeper. He had probably only put a foot wrong once in the last game against Jamshedpur FC, but otherwise, he has been immensely confident between the sticks and could prove to be a great value-for-money keeper as a substitute.

Defenders

Buanthanglun Samte (NorthEast United FC) – 4CR

Samte has been the most creative defender this season by a fair margin, and the left-back would be looking to utilize their home fixture against leaders Mohun Bagan SG as a stage to shine once again with his attacking abilities.

Muhammed Rafi (Hyderabad FC) – 4CR

Despite facing a tough challenge against the Gaurs, Rafi at 4.0CR remains another bright prospect to hold on to the bench. The full-back has been a regular starter under Thangboi Singto and could offer great value off the bench if required.

Midfielder

Lalrinliana Hnamte (Chennaiyin FC) – 4.5CR

Hnamte, at just 4.5CR, could provide good value off the bench if required. His strong presence in the attack for Chennaiyin FC makes him a valuable squad player.
