The Matchweek kicked off with three consecutive draws, setting a tense tone before the final three games saw teams clinch vital victories. Throughout these encounters, several players delivered standout performances, making significant contributions regardless of the final score.

Padam Chhetri (Mohammedan SC)
Chhetri was instrumental in Mohammedan SC's stunning upset against Bengaluru FC at home, making three crucial saves that kept his team in the game. His performance was one of the key factors in securing their second win of the season, showcasing his reliability between the posts.

Nikhil Barla ( Jamshedpur FC)
Barla played a pivotal role in Jamshedpur FC's impressive victory over Mumbai City FC, which marked only their second away win of the season. As an underrated performer, Barla's solid defensive display on the right flank included three crucial tackles, two clearances and as many interceptions, ensuring his team’s defense remained robust throughout the match.
Florent Ogier (Mohammedan SC)
Ogier earned the Player of the Match award in Mohammedan SC's triumph over Bengaluru FC, and it was a well-deserved recognition. He delivered an outstanding defensive performance, making eight clearances, along with two tackles and interceptions. His efforts were vital in neutralising Bengaluru FC's threats, securing a clean sheet for his team.
Suresh Meitei (Punjab FC)
Meitei's introduction at half-time was a game-changer for Punjab FC, who were trailing by a goal against NorthEast United FC. Meitei brought composure to their defense, withstanding the pressure from the home side in the second half.
His 10 crucial clearances were instrumental in preventing any further goals, allowing Lhungdim to score a late equaliser and secure a valuable draw.
Subhasish Bose (Mohun Bagan SG, Captain)
Bose demonstrated his leadership and versatility in Mohun Bagan SG's narrow victory over East Bengal FC in the Kolkata Derby. The Mohun Bagan SG captain made three clearances contributing to their clean sheet and was equally effective in attack, delivering dangerous crosses from the left flank. His all-round performance was a key factor in their derby win despite scoring only one goal
Midfielders
Manvir Singh (Mohun Bagan SG)
Singh's relentless work rate was evident in Mohun Bagan SG's Kolkata Derby win. Although he did not record any goal contributions, his tireless efforts down the right flank were crucial. Singh made four significant clearances and three tackles, playing a vital role in maintaining his team's defensive solidity and helping them secure a clean sheet.
Mirjalol Kasimov (Mohammedan SC)
Kasimov emerged as the hero for Mohammedan SC in their victory over Bengaluru FC, with his sublime free-kick at the death sealing the three points. Besides scoring the decisive goal, Kasimov was instrumental in disrupting the opposition's attacks, making three tackles and as many interceptions, while also winning three fouls to relieve pressure on his defense.
Lalrinliana Hnamte (Chennaiyin FC)
Hnamte continued his impressive debut season for Chennaiyin FC with another solid performance in their draw against Odisha FC. His defensive contributions were crucial in the midfield, as he made five interceptions and five tackles. Additionally, Hnamte cleared the ball three times, showcasing his ability to contribute both defensively and in transitional play.
Connor Shields (Chennaiyin FC)
Shields was a standout performer for Chennaiyin FC against Odisha FC, orchestrating the midfield with his creativity and vision. Shields provided two assists for Wilmar Jordan Gil and created four key chances, constantly troubling the opposition defense.

Wilmar Jordan Gil (Chennaiyin FC)
Gil broke his six-game goalscoring drought with a remarkable brace against Odisha FC. Despite missing a couple of chances in the first half, Gil showcased his finishing skills by scoring twice within a few minutes. His contribution wasn’t limited to scoring, as he also made four crucial clearances.
Armando Sadiku (FC Goa)
Sadiku was a bright spot for FC Goa in their draw against Hyderabad FC. He opened the scoring with a difficult goal from close range with an outstretched leg. The forward could have added another to his tally had his second attempt not come off the post. He did everything he could before coming off, even though the team conceded a late equaliser.
Head coach: Khalid Jamil
Jamshedpur FC head coach Khalid Jamil was under pressure to prove that their recent home wins were not a fluke. In a tightly contested match against Mumbai City FC, Jamil’s tactical acumen shone through. When the game got open in the second half, his decision to maintain an aggressive approach paid off as his team scored three goals, securing an impressive away victory and silencing the doubters.
