Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2020-21 has begun on an exciting note, and the first few days have already witnessed some great games, including the Kolkata derby, first in the history of Hero ISL. Now’s the time to pick Hero of the Month for November. Here is how you can vote for your choice followed by the list of all the nominees and their exploits in the month gone by.

Here’s how the votes are counted:

Fans' votes will count towards 50% of the vote share and experts' votes account for remaining 50%

The nominee with the highest cumulative percentage (Fans+Experts) after voting ends will be named the Hero of the Month. The voting starts 12 noon on December 1 and ends 12 noon on December 4.

In the event that 2 players end up with equal final percentage (Fans'+Experts' votes), the nominee with the higher percentage of the experts' votes will win.

Here are the Hero of the Month nominees for November:

Nerijus Valskis - Jamshedpur FC

The Lithuanian forward has continued where he left off last season, with three goals in two games for his new club Jamshedpur FC. The striker scored his first goal in new colours against his former club Chennaiyin FC, before adding two more against Odisha FC in his second game of the season.

Roy Krishna - ATK Mohun Bagan

Roy Krishna has been an important player for ATK Mohun Bagan this season, with two goals in two games for the Kolkata-based club. The forward from Fiji scored ATK Mohun Bagan’s first goal in the 2020-21 Hero ISL opener against Kerala Blasters FC, before opening the scoring against SC East Bengal in the first-ever derby in the Hero ISL.

Igor Angulo - FC Goa

Igor Angulo has proven himself as a worthy replacement for Ferran Corominas at FC Goa. The Spanish striker has three goals in three games for Goa so far, scoring twice to win a point for his side against Bengaluru FC before scoring once more against NorthEast United FC to ensure Juan Ferrando’s men shared the points with the Highlanders.

Anirudh Thapa - Chennaiyin FC

Chennaiyin FC have begun their season on a strong note, with one win and one draw, and Anirudh Thapa has been ever-present in the middle of the park for the Marina Machans in these games. Thapa scored in the first minute itself against Jamshedpur FC in their opening match of Hero ISL 2020-21 before helping his side to a goalless draw against Kerala Blasters FC.

Diego Mauricio - Odisha FC

Diego Mauricio made his debut for Odisha FC against Hyderabad FC and was a constant threat even though Hyderabad came out on top. The Brazilian forward, however, played the super-sub role to perfection when we he came on against Jamshedpur FC and scored two crucial goals to earn a point for his side.
