Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2020-21’s league stage ended on Sunday with FC Goa sealing the fourth spot after their goalless draw with Hyderabad FC and Mumbai City FC beating ATK Mohun Bagan to finish at the summit of the standings. Earlier this gameweek, NorthEast United FC beat Kerala Blasters FC to secure their place in the top four and Jamshedpur FC wrapped up their season with a win over Bengaluru FC. Odisha FC and SC East Bengal meanwhile were involved in a goalfest which ended 6-5 in the former’s favour. Here, we take a look at the team of the week from Gameweek 22.

Dheeraj Singh

The FC Goa goalkeeper saved the only shot on target that he faced to help his side to a goalless draw against Hyderabad FC. He also kept his first clean sheet of the season, and made five clearances and three punches for his team. For the first time this season, he made it to the team of the week.

Mourtada Fall

Fall was rightly adjudged Hero of the Match against ATK Mohun Bagan. He opened the scoring for the Islanders early in the game and also effected nine clearances, two successful interceptions and one successful tackle in a 2-0 win.

Stephen Eze

The tall Nigerian defender opened the scoring for Jamshedpur FC against Bengaluru FC with a close-range header. Stephen Eze also made five clearances, three blocks as well as three successful interceptions.

Dylan Fox

Dylan Fox assisted Lalengmawia’s goal during the Highlanders’ 2-0 win over Kerala Blasters FC. The Australian defender also made five clearances and a successful interception to help his side to a clean sheet and a place in the top four.

Jerry Mawihmingthanga

The Indian winger scored twice to help his side in their win over SC East Bengal besides providing an assist. Jerry Mawihmingthanga also helped his defence with one successful tackle, one clearance as well as one block. For the first time this season, he made it to the team of the week.

Paul Ramfangzauva

Paul Ramfangzauva scored two crucial goals for Odisha FC in their 6-5 win over SC East Bengal. Besides he came up with three successful tackles as well as two successful interceptions. For the first time this season, he made it to the team of the week.

Aaron Joshua Holloway

Aaron Joshua Holloway was the third player to score a brace in the SC East Bengal-Odisha FC game. The Welsh forward had five shots in the game and scored with both his shots on target. For the first time this season, he made it to the team of the week.

Anthony Pilkington

The Brazilian attacker was a livewire in Odisha FC’s win over SC East Bengal. In the second half, Diego Mauricio provided a brilliant assist for Jerry’s second goal and later scored their sixth goal with a brilliant freekick.

Bartholomew Ogbeche

Ogbeche doubled Mumbai City FC’s lead as the Islanders beat ATK Mohun Bagan 2-0 in the all-important game. The Nigerian also came up with two successful tackles as well as one block in a game that Mumbai City FC seal the top spot.

Sunil Chhetri

Sunil Chhetri scored Bengaluru FC’s second goal in their 3-2 loss to Jamshedpur FC. The India international also created two chances for his team, and defensively, he made one successful tackle and one successful interception.
