There was not much to separate between the teams in Gameweek 13 of Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2020-21 with very competitive football on view in all five matches. NorthEast United FC ended their winless drought with a 2-1 victory over Jamshedpur FC and Hyderabad FC registered their second successive draw. Before that ATK Mohun Bagan and FC Goa shared the points too. In another game, two-time champions Chennaiyin FC were held to a goalless draw by SC East Bengal. In what was the last match of the gameweek, Kerala Blasters FC registered a 2-1 win over Bengaluru FC. Here, let’s see who all have representation in the team of the week for Gameweek 13.

Debjit Majumder

Another fine performance from Debjit Majumder helped SC East Bengal to a goalless draw against Chennaiyin. The shot-stopper made six saves and caught the ball six times as well to cap off a strong defensive performance after the Kolkata-based club were reduced to 10 men.

Akash Mishra

Akash Mishra put on a solid defensive performance in Hyderabad’s 1-1 draw against Odisha. The young defender made three clearances, two successful tackles and two successful interceptions to keep the Odisha attack at bay.

Peter Hartley

Jamshedpur defender Peter Hartley scored the consolation goal against NorthEast United. Defensively, the Englishman made three clearances, two successful tackles and one block for his team. For the first time this season, he made it to the team of the week.  

Saviour Gama

Saviour Gama was one of the best players for FC Goa during their match against ATK Mohun Bagan. The young defender made four successful tackles, three successful interceptions, two clearances as well as three blocks for the Gaurs. It was Gama’s first appearance in the team of the week this season.  

Ashutosh Mehta

Ashutosh Mehta scored a stunning header to give the Highlanders the lead over Jamshedpur. He hampered Owen Coyle’s attackers a great deal as well as he made seven clearances, two blocks and one successful tackle for his team.

Federico Gallego

Uruguayan playmaker Federico Gallego bagged two assists for NorthEast United and also created five goal-scoring opportunities for his team against Jamshedpur. Gallego was rightly named the Hero of the Match.

Lallianzuala Chhangte

India international Lallianzuala Chhangte was unable to score a goal against SC East Bengal but created two chances for the Marina Machans. He was effective defensively as well, with three successful interceptions, two successful tackles and two blocks for his team. It was his first appearance in the team of the week this season.

Rahul KP

Rahul KP had a great game for Kerala Blasters FC against Bengaluru FC and was rightly named Hero of the Match. The Indian star scored the winner for the Blasters in second-half injury time to help his team to a 2-1 win. Both of his shots were on target.  

Cole Alexander

Featuring in the team of the week for the first time this season, Cole Alexander scored the equalising goal in the second half when Odisha took on Hyderabad. The South African midfielder scored with his only shot on target and managed two successful interceptions as well as three blocks for the Bhubaneswar-based club.

Khassa Camara

Khassa Camara helped NorthEast United keep their shape in their 2-1 win over Jamshedpur. He made two successful tackles, two successful interceptions, three clearances and three blocks for the Highlanders.

Liston Colaco

Young forward Liston Colaco assisted the first goal of the game between Hyderabad and Odisha and also created four chances for his team. He was a constant menace to the Odisha defence as well with his two of his four shots on target. For the first time this season, he made it to the team of the week.
