Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2019-20's thirteenth Gameweek had a lot in store for fans, particularly with the top four race heating up fast. All matches in the round had definite winners, resulting in some massive shake-ups in the league table. Looking back, here are the biggest talking points from Gameweek 13.

Islanders pull off unprecedented double

The first match of the Gameweek saw Mumbai City FC become the first team in the history of Hero ISL to complete a league double over Bengaluru FC. The Islanders beat the defending champions 2 -0 at the Mumbai Football Arena last Friday and had earlier beat the Blues at the Sree Kanteerava in the reverse fixture.

ATK avenge Goa defeat in crucial top of the table clash

Heading into the second match of the round, three points separated the then table-toppers FC Goa from ATK FC. With both teams vying for the top position for the entirety of the season, the tie was a crucial six-pointer. Adding to the occasion, was the last match between the two teams at the Fatorda, which the Gaurs won 2-1 after a fiery affair. ATK made the most out of their home advantage as they beat their rivals 2-0 in Kolkata, courtesy goals from Pritam Kotal and Jayesh Rane. The result could prove crucial in the race for the top spot as the league phase begins to wind down.

Castel returns to lift Jamshedpur out of slump

Jamshedpur FC were winless in six and had lost their last three on the trot going into their Gameweek 13 fixture against a resurgent Kerala Blasters FC, who were on a high after winning their last two in a row. Things didn't look good for Antonio Iriondo's men as they fell behind early on in the contest. Noe Acosta brought them level in the first half but Jamshedpur fell behind yet again as Bartholomew Ogbeche restored Kerala's lead 11 minutes after the restart. Sergio Castel, who missed Jamshedpur's last five matches due to an injury, came on the pitch in the 65th minute and helped change the tide of the game. He was involved in winning Jamshedpur a penalty and converted it himself to bring his team level. With minutes of regulation time remaining, the Spaniard made himself a nuisance in the Kerala box, forcing the own goal, which eventually turned out to be the winner.

Blues end Odisha's win streak

Following their defeat to Mumbai in the opening match of the Gameweek, the reigning champions bounced back strongly with a 3-0 win at home against Odisha FC. New signing Deshorn Brown scored the opener before Rahul Bheke and Sunil Chhetri added to it. The loss also brought to an end, Odisha's four-match winning streak which rapidly lifted them to the fourth position.

Valskis becomes first to 10 goals

The final match of the Gameweek saw Chennaiyin FC register a commanding 4-1 win over Jamshedpur FC. Nerijus Valskis was the star of the show with a brace and in the process became the first player to score 10 goals this season.
