Alaaeddine Ajaraie (NorthEast United FC) — 12 points

Alaaeddine Ajaraie, a gem of a player, not only established himself among the league's elite but also played a pivotal role in NorthEast United FC’s playoff qualification after a three-year hiatus. The Moroccan forward secured 12 crucial points for the Highlanders and remained a constant threat to opposition defenders throughout the season with his lethal finishing and consistent goal-scoring form.

Ajaraie is the first player to score 20+ goals in a season in the ISL (23 in 2024-25); he is also the first player to record 25+ goal contributions in a single season (30 in 2024-25). He also averaged a whopping 0.92 goals per game with a goal conversion rate of 22.33%.

Nikolaos Karelis (Mumbai City FC) — 11 points

Nikolaos Karelis has been a matchwinner for the Mumbai City FC this season with his crucial goals and impactful performances. The Greek striker’s crucial strikes saw the Islanders seal 11 points, playing a key role in their playoff qualification.

Luka Majcen (Punjab FC) — 9 points

Luka Majcen racked up 10 goals to his name to become the highest goalscorer for Punjab FC and the joint-fifth highest in the league. The Slovenian forward found the back of the net in crunch moments, helping his team bag nine points in the ISL 2024-25 season.

The Shers’ captain missed a couple of games due to an injury earlier this season. However, he bounced back strongly. Majcen logged 1251 minutes on the field, averaging 0.5 goals per game with a 28.57% goal conversion rate.

Brison Fernandes (FC Goa) — 9 points

Brison Fernandes experienced a breakthrough campaign this season with FC Goa and also eventually won the ‘Emerging Player of the Season’ award. The Goa-born midfielder scored important goals, especially at the Fatorda, securing nine vital points for the Gaurs.

Fernandes recorded nine goal contributions during the season, the outright most by any Indian player for FC Goa in a single season in the league. The talented midfielder proved himself as an integral part of Manolo Marquez’s starting lineup and delivered stunning performances when the team needed him the most.
