Football is for the fans and Bengaluru FC's initiative to make special arrangements to aid a pregnant fan attend the club's upcoming Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2019-20 home match is a glowing testimony to the special bond Bengaluru and other clubs in the country share with their respective fan-bases.

The reigning Hero ISL champions are due to clash against Kerala Blasters FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Saturday, November 23.  On Wednesday, Meghana Nair, a Bengaluru FC fan and mother-to-be tweeted to the club seeking permission to carry some hot water in a bottle, which is normally forbidden at sports venues. "Hello @bengalurufc! Is there any possibility that I could (get) permission to carry some hot water from home in a reusable bottle?? I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant & I need to stay hydrated also take my medication. It was terribly inconvenient when I came to watch previous matches!!" she wrote.

Shortly after, the club wrote back to Meghana and did more than just allow her permission. The club responded to her stating, "Hey, Meghana. We love the fact that you're introducing your little one to the Fortress already! We'd be more than happy to accommodate you in the Owner's Box for Saturday's game, where there's hot water and more. This one's on us."

The heart-warming gesture didn't go unnoticed on social media as plaudits poured in from every corner.
