Sehnaj Singh has left Mumbai City FC to join ATK on a one year deal. The Kolkata-based side confirmed the signing on their social media handles on Saturday.

Having developed at the Gurdaspur Football Academy and the Chandigarh Football Academy, Sehnaj had stints with Pailan Arrows and Mumbai FC before joining Mohun Bagan in 2014. The defensive midfielder truly made a name for himself while playing for the Mariners and was an integral part of the team which won the Hero I-League 2014-15 title.

His performances attracted Delhi Dynamos FC's attention, who signed him up for Hero ISL 2015. In his debut Hero ISL campaign, the hard-tackling midfielder represented the Lions in 10 matches, helping them reach the semi-finals.

The following season, he moved to Mumbai City FC and have been with the Islanders since, turning out for the west coast club 40 times over three seasons.

Sehnaj is a typical combative midfielder with high work rate and excels at screening the defence by breaking up opposition play in the midfield. With ATK building an impressive team on paper this season, Sehnaj's addition will provide head coach Antonio Lopez Habas a very potent option in the midfield.
