Semi-Final 1 of the AIFF Super Cup will see Kolkata Giants East Bengal FC take on Punjab FC, who will be featuring for the first time at this stage of the competition. Both sides made it through their respective groups with unbeaten records, where East Bengal FC edged local rivals Mohun Bagan Super Giant on goal difference after an intense draw played out between the two outfits. Punjab FC on the other hand were locked with Bengaluru FC with an identical record and ended up winning the group on penalties, thanks to the heroics by their keeper Muheet Khan who saved the penalty of Bengaluru FC winger, Ryan Williams.

Semi-Final 2 will be played out between defending Champions FC Goa and West Coast rivals Mumbai City FC. Despite their defeat to NorthEast United FC in their final group game, FC Goa had already secured a place in the Semi-Finals thanks to maximum points picked up from their first 2 matches in their group, while NEUFC’s two draws in first two games put them out of contention. Mumbai City FC on the other hand made it through and needed some luck on their side, as a late own goal by Kerala Blasters FC helped the Islanders secure their place in the Semi-Finals despite a shock defeat to I-league outfit Rajasthan United FC in this edition of the AIFF Super Cup.

The winners of the Semi-Finals will face each other on December 7 for the final of the AIFF Super Cup.
