It was a disappointing return to Kochi for CK Vineeth as he saw his current team, Chennaiyin FC, slump to a 3-0 loss against his former team Kerala Blasters FC. Having switched from Kerala to Chennaiyin during the January transfer window, Vineeth had a lot to prove in the intense Southern Derby, but it didn't quite go according to plan for the veteran forward.

After the match, indiansuperleague.com caught up with Vineeth for his reaction. Here's what he had to say.

What went wrong tonight?

Everything. I guess everything went well for Kerala Blasters FC. Their every touch was good, every shot went in. Once in a while, it happens.

With the Hero Super Cup and the AFC Cup coming up, will there be a change in game plan?

It's not about a change in game plan. It's about playing well, scoring goals - that's what makes a team better I think. We need to find the rhythm, score goals and win matches. That's what's needed.
