Third-placed FC Pune City host table-toppers FC Goa at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Pune on Sunday in their penultimate home fixture of Hero Indian Super League Season 2. The two teams are currently separated by just one point, and while Pune need to win to take the top spot, Goa can keep their position even with a draw. Pune, who have taken just one point from their last two games, will look to make most of their home ground advantage and leapfrog Goa in the table.Form Guide (last five matches):FC Pune City: W-L-W-D-L FC Goa: W-W-L-D-WHead-to-Head: Both sides won their home fixtures by a scoreline of 2-0 last season. However, they shared the spoils in a 1-1 tie earlier this season.Gouramangi Singh vs Mandar Rao DessaiGouramangi Singh can be expected to be kept busy by a Goan side which loves their wingers to drift into central areas while attacking. Singh has been a consistent performer for the Stallions and has made 56 clearances from threatening areas for his side in Hero ISL 2015. With the likes of Mandar Rao Dessai and Romeo Fernandes cutting in from the flanks, Gouramangi will be called into action in plenty of One v One situations on Sunday.Dessai has been one of FC Goa’s revelations in Season 2 of the Hero ISL. The 23-year-old local boy has featured heavily in attack for his side this season. He has shown the composure needed in front of goal and already netted twice this year. Dessai’s quick feet and ability to see a pass has also seen him add an assist to his name in this campaign.Eugeneson Lyngdoh vs Leo MouraEugeneson Lyngdoh will be hoping to show his full range of skills before going away on national duty. The Stallions’ playmaker has been pulling the strings from midfield for his side this year and has been involved in most of their attacking play. He has created two goals and also scored one for Pune so far and will be hoping to add plenty more to his tally as the season enters its business end.In a direct confrontation in midfield against Lyngdoh, Leo Moura will be hoping to neutralize any threat posed by Lyngdoh at the centre of the park. Moura has started in every game for Goa this season and is pivotal to his side’s chances of clinching the trophy this year. He has created numerous opportunities for the Gaurs so far and has also scored twice.Tuncay Sanli vs LucioTuncay Sanli will be hoping to overcome a mini goal drought after netting thrice for Pune earlier this season. The former Turkish international poses a massive threat aerially and is also comfortable with the ball at his feet. His hold-up play with back to goal is also integral to Pune’s tactical discipline which demands their wingers to make run-ins behind opposition full-backs.Lucio’s big match experience has helped solidify the FC Goa backline. The world cup winner has an 83% passing accuracy and loves to venture forward in attack. A genuine threat from set-pieces, Lucio has made 36 clearances so far and has developed a good understanding with fellow centre-half Gregory Arnolin. Both teams will be looking to consolidate their position in the top half of the Hero ISL table on Sunday with Pune especially looking to return to winning ways, having taken just a single point from their last two matches. Rafael Coelho will be an important figure in how Goa fare. The Brazilian, who was drafted in recently to the Gaur set-up, earned both penalties in Goa’s last match. David Platt, meanwhile, will be looking to his diminutive winger Jackichand Singh to help the team go from strength to strength.Squads:FC Pune City: Kalu Uche, Adrian Mutu (Marquee Player), Yendrick Ruiz, Wesley Verhoek, Tuncay Sanli, Didier Zokora, James Bailey, Jackichand Singh, Fanai Lalrempuia, Sushanth Mathew, Manish Maithani, Bikash Jairu, Israil Gurung, Eugeneson Lyngdoh, Lenny Rodrigues, Diego Colotto, Roger Johnson, Nicky Shorey, Govin Singh, Gourmangi Singh, Gurjinder Kumar, Pritam Kotal, Dharmaraj Ravanan, Steve Simonsen, Lalit Thapa, Arindam BhattacharyaFC Goa: Elinton Sanchotene Andrade, Luis Barreto, Laxmikant Kattimani, Lucimar Da Silva Ferreira [Lucio] [marquee], Gregory Arnolin, Luciano Sobrosa, Keenan Almeida, Nicolau Colaco, Raju Gaekwad, Debabrata Roy, Narayan Das, Joffre Mateu Gonzalez, Leonardo da Silva Moura [Leo Moura], Jonatan Lucca, Denson Devdas, Pronay Halder, Bikramjit Singh, Mandar Rao Dessai, Romeo Fernandes, Reinaldo Da Cruz Oliveira, Rafael Coelho, Macpherlin Omagbemi Dudu, Thongkoisep Haokip, Victorino Fernandes, Joaquim Abranches, CS Sabeeth.
