After two successive defeats in the 2015 Hero Indian Super League (ISL), last year’s semi-finalists Chennaiyin FC are hoping to get their campaign back on track against FC Goa whom they play at Fatorda’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday.Ahead of the game Chennai assistant coach Vivek Nagul fielded questions from the media and insisted there was no need to press the panic button and that they had different tactics to deal with the Goan team. “Definitely yes [on different tactics]. We've worked on what we need to do and we've planned well for the Goa game. We know their ability, and we've planned according to that, and we're ready for the show,” Nagul said.“No panic at the moment, but yes, it's a disappointment that we lost two games in a row. We want to apologize to all our Chennaiyin fans, but we want to assure them that we'll come back with a bang. We've planned our sessions, we've planned what to do for the next games, and game by game we'll go according to the situation.”Nagul exulted their next opponents but said there was no fear in his camp. “We appreciate the work they have done and yes we know their strength. We respect the opponents but we don't have any fear. We have come here, we are determined to get points, and we will show it on the field. We have a different strategy to show, and we will definitely prove it.”The assistant coach also expected last year’s top goal-scorer Elano to hit top gear very soon. “He has started a little slowly, but is coming up with us. He has his own way of playing, and he has that ability of marshalling the midfield and going with the ball and doing his art. He may not have got the goals but he is the same as last year. He has a goal in his pocket but more goals will definitely do good to his confidence. He is a very mature player; I am sure he will show some great football in this game,” Nagul said.
